Exploration Itinerary

(All activities are included.  You always have the option to enjoy a relaxing day on farm, instead. Rates reduced.)  

  • Sunday arrival:

  • Check in.  Receive your welcome gifts and move into your glamping tent or room in our 1860 farmhouse.

  • Enjoy a welcome gathering with some snacks around the fire while you meet your fellow cyclists and adventure tour guests.

  • Monday: 50km

  • Breakfast provided.

  • Meet the guide and get fitted for your bike (Davinci Hatchet) while we discuss basic tour safety.

  • Bike to West Montrose home of the last wooden covered bridge in Ontario (the Kissing Bridge).

  • Catered picnic lunch provided beside the Grand River.

  • On the return trip Zip Line the Irvine River gorge (included)

  • Back at the camp you can relax in your tent or around the camp while getting ready for Dinner.

  • Return shuttle to local restaurant in Fergus. 

  • Campfire and socialize.

  • Tuesday: 50km

  • Breakfast provided.

  • Cycle to Rockwood 

  • Canoe on the Eramosa in the Rockwood Conservation area.

  • Picnic in the park provided.

  • Cycle home

  • Return shuttle takes you to Elora to one of our feature restaurants.

  • Evening camp for more fire time and relaxation.

  •  Wednesday: 60km

  • Breakfast provided.

  • Cycle to Grand Valley.

  • Lunch provided at Grand Spirits.  Distillery tour included.

  • Return to camp

  • Return shuttle to dinner in Fergus

  • Camp fire and socialize

  •  Thursday: 70km 

  • Breakfast provided.

  • Cycle through Mennonite Country to the Village of St. Jacobs. 

  • Lunch provided and Beer tour at Block Three Brewery.

  • Rest stop in West Montrose. (Optional pick up)

  • Once back at the camp you can relax until we head to Elora for dinner.

  • Return shuttle to Elora Brewing company with the guests from the Adventure Tour.

  • Optional evening with musical guests at Elora Brewing Company.

  • Campfire and socialize.


  • Friday:

  • Breakfast provided

  • Chasing water holes!

  • We will cycle to places where you can jump off a bridge into Belwood lake, then we will bike to a beach called Paradise where you can swim or jump off a small cliff.

  • Our next stop is the now famous Elora Quarry.

  • Picnic lunch provided.

  • Walking tour of Fergus or Elora lead by a local historian before heading back to camp.

By the end of the week, we hope you’re are mentally rested, physically fit and will know enough about our home town to plan a return visit with family and friends.
